About the role
- Security Engineer enhancing security capabilities for organizations through automation and collaboration. Building secure services and infrastructure in a dynamic engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain **security services and APIs** for engineering teams
- Automate the delivery of security capabilities (e.g., certificates, WAF, firewall rules)
- Design and maintain a **Zero Touch Networking / Provisioning** environment
- Integrate security tools and processes into **CI/CD pipelines**
- Ensure continuous improvement of services based on user experience and internal feedback
- Monitor and follow industry trends in cybersecurity and apply best practices
- Manage service requests and changes, ensuring alignment with user and business needs
- Drive **proactive incident and problem management**, implementing improvements to operational stability
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as **Python, Go, or Bash**
- Experience with **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of **containerization technologies** (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working with **Git and CI/CD pipelines**
- Ability to design and support secure, automated service delivery processes
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong team player with the ability to build relationships across the organization
