About the role

• Senior Java Backend Developer at ADITO with high responsibility in Java-centric agile teams. Working on a scalable architecture for a unique CRM platform in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable and modern backend components in Java — together within a Scrum team
• Actively shape and evolve the architecture of our platform
• Implement the technical runtime of our Rapid Application Platform
• Take responsibility for testing your own components
• Work closely with other teams such as Frontend, Infrastructure and Cloud
• Think across boundaries: contribute ideas, challenge solutions and participate actively
• Team development: with your experience you support and mentor less experienced team members

Requirements

• Several years of backend development experience with Java (senior level)
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architectures (SOA)
• Clean, test-driven working style (e.g. JUnit, Mockito) and high quality standards
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Enjoy working with databases (e.g. MS SQL, MariaDB)
• Solution-oriented mindset: you contribute proactively and want to shape things — not just maintain them
• Good German language skills (at least B2) for smooth team communication
• Willingness to work 2–3 days per week in the office in Geisenhausen — for exchange, team cohesion and real dialogue
