About the role
- Java Backend Developer involved in developing robust backend components for a CRM system at ADITO. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and integrating external services within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- As part of the team, you develop robust, scalable, and modern backend components in Java
- You implement the technical foundation of our rapid application platform
- You integrate external services such as email, Exchange, authentication, etc., and contribute to the ongoing development of our service-oriented architecture
- You are responsible for testing your components (automated unit and integration tests)
- You work closely with other development teams (frontend, cloud, AI)
- You contribute across teams and take initiative — looking beyond tickets to find and shape solutions
Requirements
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in Java backend development following your degree or vocational training
- Some experience with SQL databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, or MariaDB) is a strong plus
- You enjoy working in service-oriented architectures (SOA)
- You want to shape solutions, not just maintain them — you take initiative and look for solutions where others see problems
- You speak fluent German (minimum C1) — this is important for our team communication
