About the role
- Senior Accountant at Active Nutrition International handling Accounts Receivable and Payable duties. Collaborating with internal departments and external partners, ensuring financial processes are optimized.
Responsibilities
- Independent responsibility for accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, including dunning processes and reconciliation of open items
- Posting of bank statements and payment advices, preparation of VAT returns (Austria & Switzerland) and Intrastat declarations
- Responsible for correct management and posting of fixed assets
- Support for month-end and year-end closings, including provisions, foreign currency valuations, SOX documentation and reporting to the USA
- Communication with auditors, tax advisors and tax inspectors
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship plus further qualification as a certified accounting professional (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Solid professional experience in financial accounting and tax law (UStG, HGB, US GAAP)
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (Infor preferred); ideally Key User experience in an ERP implementation project
- Independent work style, proactive drive to take initiative and solution- and goal-oriented approach
- Business-fluent German and proficiency in English
