About the role
- Intern Software Engineer assisting in the design and development of cloud-based eCommerce Payment Platform in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Participating in the design, development, testing, and delivery of high-quality software
- Creating and reviewing unit and integration tests, executing tests, and analyzing results
- Supporting the investigation and resolution of customer-reported issues
- Collaborating closely with teammates in an Agile, cross-functional environment
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
- Understands and complies with Risk Management program requirements including identification of risks, key controls, and control testing as applicable to their responsibilities
Requirements
- 2–3 years of completed coursework in Computer Science or a related field
- On track to graduate within the next 1–2 years
- Basic understanding of software development technologies and methodologies
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including source control, unit testing, and secure coding principles
- Proficient English level
- Experience with Java
- Understanding of Agile software development principles
- Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: JSON, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience or coursework related to cloud-based microservices, ideally using Spring Boot
- Basic knowledge of Linux environments
- Interest or experience in working with AI models for coding or development assistance
