About the role
- Junior ESG Analyst supporting data handling and automation at Banco ABC Brasil, focusing on ESG reporting and analysis to enhance sustainability efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support in dashboard development and monitoring: create and maintain dashboards for continuous tracking of the institution’s ESG indicators and metrics.
- Support in process automation: identify opportunities and implement improvements to automate data collection, processing, and visualization.
- Support in data structuring: update, optimize, and maintain tables, queries, and databases essential for sustainability analyses.
- Support in ESG questionnaires and indices: assist with data collection, structuring, and completion of market sustainability questionnaires (such as CDP, ICO2, S&P).
- Creation of management presentations: prepare visual materials, reports, and presentations to communicate ESG results, metrics, and initiatives.
- Assistance with official reports: support the consolidation of information for the preparation of the Integrated Annual Report and other regulatory disclosures of the bank.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Previous experience involving data manipulation and automation.
- Systems and Tools: Looker Studio, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform, JupyterLab, Excel (Advanced).
- Programming languages: SQL, Python.
- Intermediate English.
- Analytical ability: ability to translate large volumes of data into insights.
- Clear communication: skill in engaging with different areas of the bank and presenting results in a didactic manner.
- Affinity for Sustainability: interest in ESG topics and sustainable business.
