About the role
- Full Stack Software Engineer developing Java microservices and React UI for Collibra's internal AI platform. Responsible for backend and frontend development while collaborating with product teams in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable Java / Spring Boot microservices that form the backbone of Collibra’s internal AI platform.
- Contribute to and own React / TypeScript UI features that improve developer experience and usability of AI tooling.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define clear API contracts and platform capabilities.
- Support the evolution of frontend architecture, patterns and code quality standards within a backend-centric team.
- Optimize performance and reliability across the stack, especially in data-intensive and AI-driven workflows.
- Participate in platform design discussions and contribute to technical direction.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production environments.
- Solid experience building modern web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Ability and motivation to work across the full stack, with a backend-first mindset.
- Experience designing scalable services and working with distributed systems concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or similar container platforms.
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable and testable code.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Valid work authorization for the Czech Republic.
