About the role

• Working Student Data/BI Analyst for CleanTech company 1KOMMA5°, focusing on renewable energy solutions and intelligent energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Data preparation: You design, write and optimize efficient SQL models to transform data from operational systems into reliable, analysis-ready datasets.
• BI development: You support the build, maintenance and further development of our business intelligence platform by creating and structuring LookML views, dimensions and metrics.
• Dashboards & visualization: You design and develop intuitive, insightful dashboards in Looker that enable stakeholders to monitor key metrics, analyze trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Troubleshooting & optimization: You analyze and fix errors in SQL queries and LookML code, resolve data issues and continuously improve performance and data quality.
• Analysis & reporting: You develop new calculations and data analyses to expand our reporting capabilities and deliver practical, actionable insights for different areas of the company.
• Collaboration: You work closely with the Data, Product and Operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements

• You are currently studying Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Business Analytics or a comparable, quantitatively oriented degree program.
• You have good SQL skills and understand the difference between JOINs and UNIONs.
• You have an analytical mindset, enjoy solving complex problems and have a strong eye for detail.
• You show initiative, are eager to learn and curious about new technologies — asking questions is part of your approach.
• You communicate clearly, in a structured and concise manner — both within the team and in writing.
• You have very good German language skills (spoken and written).
